Ted Murphy Gave Me Pink Eye!

I just participated in a large Cake Plow event at Postiecon 2007. I got really into it and now half of my face is totally pink. I uploaded the cake plow video to Youtube. Here it is below

    Here is my final product.

Just remember where she learned it when your daughter does this on her first birthday! ;-)

I will certainly keep that in mind. I know I am in trouble when she understands these things.

That’s awesome - totally awesome! Thanks for posting the video here - it was so much easier to see the dramatic events unfolding than on the live feed! Especially the throwing of the cake!

You rock, Drew. Thanks for the great info you gave at the panel. And I’ll be linking to you soon at my food blog. If cake plowing isn’t a foodie blog activity, I don’t know what is.

Yeah the flying cake was not a good idea. Cake plow itself wasn’t too messy, just for the participants

Forgive me, I’m new here and I don’t want to sound stupid (too late?) but what was this cake plow for/about/having to do with? It was hysterical to watch and I enjoyed it! But what, when, where, why??? Thanks!

      Hi bonnie,
I really should give a full explanation of the Cake Plow Proceedings. You see, Ted Murphy, CEO of IZEA has this tradition of performing a cake plow when a milestone is reached. It is for pure fun and enjoyment. It was also a great icebreaker for me to get to know other posties, they knew me as the crazy multicolored cake plow guy. It was actually quite fun and tasty too.
