While Allison, Eva and I took a walk around my in-law’s housing complex we saw over 40 houses for sale. I noticed a ton of them when I took some bike rides as well. Not that we are looking to move to Florida any time soon. However, it is pretty easy to find a place in this complex. But, we have our own place now and are already paying on a mortgage. I don’t think that we would be able to take on any more Mortgages.
After being on vacation for the past two weeks I think we could certainly enjoy life in Southern Florida. The weather is awesome, there is a community pool and it is a nice little neighborhood that we can walk around with Eva.
But, I would certainly miss the seasons, the changes in weather and the snow. Yes, the snow would be something I would miss. Of course I enjoyed missing the weather in New England these past few weeks.
We are headed back on Sunday, back to reality, back to mortgage payments, bills and work. Of course our current mortgage is a pretty sweet one and what we are getting in return is pretty awesome. We’ll be returning home to a slightly different condo because my Dad helped us out by painting the hallway. Now we can finally put up some photos and we are one more room closer to having the condo complete. So it is certainly worth paying the mortgage each month.

Drew, we really enjoyed reading your blog this morning. Great to see pictures of Eva and loved the video. Enjoy the rest of your vacation, we’re getting heavy rain today.
