Photo-A-Day #2138

This photo was so much what I was feeling today. I took a walk at lunchtime and saw how the ice was so thick and at the same time cracked and pushed up against the rocks. I thought to myself that the shine was beginning to crack. There is one aspect of my life right now where the shine is really starting to crack. And I can’t talk about it publicly and that drives me crazy. Rest assured that health, family, finances are all good.

Today was Saint Valentine’s Day. I stopped on my way home and picked up some flowers for Allison and a set of My Little Pony toys for Eva. She absolutely loves the new shows on HUB. Here favorite episode is Friendship is Magic Part II. The playset had half of the characters from that episode. Wish that there was another playset with the other half of the characters available.

We tried to put Eva to bed early and have a nice romantic dinner. Allison made some haddock and stuffies (Stuffed Quahog) with some wine to drink. We fed Eva early and put her to bed. She got up no less than 5 times while we ate. She never does that. So we finally got to finish our meal and enjoy it. After dinner I had one of the Whoopie Pies that Allison and Eva made as a special Valentine’s Day dessert. They were very good and had pink filling in them. Very tasty.
