So I learned about a guy who made an awesome DIY today on Gizmodo (and they got the story from The Book of Joe.) His name is Jim Garlitz and he created a Water Chopper. It took him two months and $1000 to make the water chopper but man does it kick. A great little spare time project.

    Good evening fellow blogger!

I just wanted to ask you a small favor which would really help jump start a new project/contest I’ve launched tonight.

Basically it’s a website called BloggingsMostWanted.Com, where bloggers can buy a “block”, upload their face or whatever on it, and it links directly to their blog. The cool thing is that if it gets big enough (which I’m determined to make it HUGE) then it will have quite the viral effect, and benefit everyone.

The coolest incentive is that when I sell all 625 blocks ($15 each, or $10 if you put a link back to the site on your blog) I am going to give away two cash prizes, $1000 and $500!

Without help from my blogging friends, this won’t work. So I’m asking you to consider buying a block, and/or a small blurb about it on your site. Help me prove to everyone (family included) that my time on the internet is not wasted!

Thanks so much for your support and consideration. It truly means a lot!

Isn’t it Mo. I just wrote about another intrepid guy on The Wired Kayaker. He also Kicks.

  4. Drew says:

    Ryan,
While your idea is a good one, it was done before and better. There is a blog site called FuelMyBlog that gave you a spot for free and has become more of a community for bloggers. I will not be buying a spot on BMW but you did get a link to your blog because I am part of the Do Follow Movement.

    I didn’t even know what a water chopper was… That’s $1000 well spent.

  6. Drew says:

Yeah, this was something I had never heard of but I’d certainly like a ride on one.

  7. shazad says:

Wow that looks cool wish i had the time to get one and actually use it.

  8. Drew says:

I wouldn’t mind having one either.
