This is my Sleep Schedule Screaming at Me

Photo-A-Day #2221

Eva gave me this Heroclix figure. It is Emil Blonsky, otherwise known as Abomination. He’s from the Hulk’s storyline. He sort of looks like Mer-Man from the old He-Man series. Except he’s in a little blue speedo. Eva got him at Free Comic Book Day yesterday, I wish I could have taken her and so appreciate that Allison humored me and took her.

Today was Mother’s Day and according to Allison I got away pretty scott free overall. We had breakfast with friends and they picked up the tab. I tried to pay, I really did. I had every intention of doing so. also because of the new job I slept most of the day to get ready for the night ahead. So Allison made dinner. I’m lucky that I’m usually very helpful day in and day out to have enough in the bank to get away scott-free. I’ll just have to find a way to get some really good swag for Allison soon. 🙂 We’ll plant lilacs at the new house, something that she really wants.

I pretty much slept the whole day. I was wiped from Bloggy Boot Camp yesterday and being up for nearly 36 hours straight. Getting used to this weekend shift is going to take some time for sure.

  1. I think it is a change that both of you have to get adjusted to. Good Luck

    1. Dad,

It certainly is something we need to get adjusted to. So far so good. I wasn’t actually too tired, just needed something to go with the photo, couldn’t go and title it Mother’s Day 2011 could I? Hah Ha.
