I Attended TweetDrive Providence

Photo-A-Day #2070

Tonight I went to an event that was sponsored by the Newport Interactive Marketers. It was called the TweetDrive. Think of it as a Toy drive for Twitter users. My friend Suzanne McDonald from WordPress Providence and Newport Interactive Marketers invited me to this event. She’s actually invited me to many events and I haven’t been able to attend a single one. I finally could. And She couldn’t make it.

Despite not knowing anyone I was able to meet some great new people and I had a lot of fun. I stopped off at Walmart and picked up a couple of Transformers. I think every little kid should have at least one. :-). We gathered quite a few toys and had some tasty appetizers too.

While I was there I met Alicia, Kelly, Amanda, Jon, Nick, Mike, Josh, Dave and Jaccalen. The turnout wasn’t huge but it was nice to get a chance to talk to a bunch of new people. I even did an interview with Alicia. I did an interview with Jon about Swing Juice. I should be trying some of it soon. I’ll let you know how it is. I did however get Jon to tell me all about it.

I look forward to another event.

This is my own personal DSLR camera that I bought half of. My mother-In-Law bought the other half as an investment of great photos of her grandchildren. With over 26,000 photos of Eva and counting, I’d say she got great ROI on the investment. The opinions about them are 100% mine.
