Growing up my family went to Florida a couple times. One time we went down and stayed in Kissimmee, Florida. I remember that we stayed at the Days Inn. I loved those trips. We were able to go to all the major theme parks in the area and we saved a great deal of money by staying in Kissimmee.

I learned about a contest to win a free trip to Kissimmee. Actually there will be three (3) weekend getaways (3 days/2 nights) for two (2); and two (2) weeklong vacations for four (4). Drawings will be held on or around 4/15/09 and 5/21/09. That is a great deal especially for a family of four or a couple wanting to get away. And once you are in Kissimmee there are tons of things that you can do for free as well.

If you are into rollerblading you can take advantage of the perfect weather of Kissimmee and head over to Kissimmee Lakefront Park, there is over 3 miles of paved walkways to enjoy.

Even though there are many free things to do in Kissimmee you also will probably want to live it up a bit and be carefree. For a carefree indulgence I am all about visiting theme parks. One of my favorite places to visit would be SeaWorld. The reason that I pick SeaWorld over places like Disney or Universal is primarily for Eva. Eva fell in love with the dolphins at Sea World on one of our past trips and any chance we can have to bring her back to see them is worth the trip. And at SeaWorld I have the chance to take some phenomenal photos of the animal shows. How else could I have captured this image of Kayla, one of the orcas.
