Last night I picked up my in-laws from the airport and Dano and I talked about South Florida. He told me about stories that can only happen in south Florida like the woman who kicked her boyfriend/husband out of the house only to find him dead the next morning in the cat door. some messed up stuff.
Then we talked about the current housing market and how they are seeing so many foreclosures in their area and expect to see many more. It is difficult now for people to get new mortgages let alone try for Remortgages. There are still places online where you can compare mortgages but many big mortgage companies are starting to lay people off and some even close up shop. We saw a huge run on the housing market and the prices are so completely out of whack. Just 20 years ago my parent’s bought a home with a $17,000 mortgage. My credit card debt hit that much and there is no tax deduction on credit card debt.
And talking about that was even more messed up so we went back to stories of South Florida. Like the one where a guy and a girl got out of the car on the off ramp to fight and argue and were stuck by another driver and killed. I mean how stupid do you have to be to get out of the car on an off ramp.
