This past weekend Allison and I took Eva to the Newport Folk Festival. It was a great time there on the lawn at Fort Adams State Park. But I think I would have rather had a chance to listen to the music from the water. It was a huge party out on the boats. Next year I’m going to get some people together who want to do some kayaking and listening to some good folk music. So I have a year to figure out where to put my boat in and what sort of things I would need for a day on the water in the Newport Harbor.

Yep one year ahead, not so much for a party but plans on where to go to put in to kayak that day.

It was a great place, the sky was amazing and the weather was great. I hope to be there next year for sure.
