Time with Grandpa Dano

Time with Grandpa Dano
Photo-A-Day #1249

A nice lazy day today. I like having the time to get some blog work done. I worked on my review for the Nana Star books that received. I also spent some time uploading some of my best shots to Photrade. I even wrote a couple of posts about Alton Brown’s new series Feasting on Waves.

I’ve been using a site called Remember the Milk. Being a person that enjoys multitasking this is a great site with great features. The service integrates with both Twitter and GMail. I can send a quick private message via Twitter to Remember the Milk and that to do item ends up on my to do list. I can even set dates and times when things need to be completed and I can complete tasks via Twitter. I’ve been using it to make sure I get everything done that I want to get done with my blog while on vacation. It has been great.

We hung around the house for most of the day just relaxing and enjoying having nothing much to do. We were pretty wiped out from our walk around the zoo and the sun. Eva even slept till about eight o’clock this morning. We went to the mall and walked around a bit. Eva got a couple new pairs of footy pajamas and a cute little toy car from the Disney store.

Tonight we are gearing up to watch Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. The premiere is tonight and it is looking like I made the call too soon about Fox canceling the show. The thing is they just keep screwing up shows I like. I hope they don’t end up doing it to this show anyway. I’ll have a review tomorrow.

Photrade Revisited

Back in November I met Krista from Photrade at Blog World Expo. We spent some time talking at the Postiecon party at Tao. A while later I we had a phone conversation where I worked on Photrade while Krista listened. We discussed enhancements to the service.

Well, I am going back to Blog World Expo and so will the folks from Photrade. I recently went back to the site to see what had been done since our last conversation. I have to say I was pretty impressed with all the changes. The interface is much better. It is easier to update your photos as well as upload them. I have started going through my best shots so that I can upload them to Photrade and maybe make a little money. I hadn’t done much so far and already made $0.46, imagine if I put some effort into this. Photrade is also a place where you can buy some of my photos as prints. Here are a few of the images I recently uploaded.
