Today Allison, Eva and I went up to New Hampshire. Eva stayed with our friend Sherrie while we went to a funeral. We were there for the funeral of Allison’s friend Tina. Tina was a very sweet woman who went to Saint Paul’s School with her. When we lived in New Hampshire we saw her more often but Allison and Tina wrote to each other when they could. Her passing was unexpected and very sad. Hearing more about her life through her husband was so touching and sweet. We are so sorry for Tina’s family’s loss.She will be missed. Moves like Jagger

With shows like American Idol, The Voice, The Singing Bee and every other musical related thing on TV is it any wonder why kids would love their own microphones. Children are natural performers. They are always trying to get our attention and one of the ways that Eva gets our attention is by singing. She’s been known to sign the opening of The Lion King all through the grocery store on more than one occasion and She’s also made up her own little songs and sings them while playing a guitar. Give her a microphone and she wants to sing like crazy. Her latest favorite is Chicken Fried by the Zac Brown Band. I like the song as well.
