Laser Tag at Xtreme Craze Foxboro

Laser Tag

A few years ago I went to Extreme Craze in Westborough. When I was there I was talking with the owner who mentioned that he was trying to get approval to open an Xtreme Craze in Foxboro. Well, it looks like they got it because I received an email a few weeks ago saying that they were having a soft opening and we could go for free ($5 a person but we got that back in the form of a card for video games.). I signed up to go thinking that this would be some sort of little event with a few people. I was wrong on that one. this event was widely publicized and the place was packed. We signed up for Laser Tag and I didn’t realize that it was an either or sort of situation because we were unable to go on the inflatable course. Luckily Andrew was a trooper and didn’t get too upset. We played a game of 4 rounds of laser tag and how a lot of fun. Andrew did really well, too. I hit a decent stride but could have done better. Allison and Eva also did well. Eva did much better once she figured out how to properly use the laser tag blaster.

We’ll have to come back another time to play with everything.

Bonus Day on The Cape

Little Tree Set Up

I’ve been making sure to take the day after Thanksgiving off so that we can stay on the Cape longer. It makes for an easier transition back to work after the holiday and gives us a nice relaxing day on Cape cod to spend with my parents.

We had a nice big breakfast and a relaxing morning. The kids helped Mem and Grandfather put up the small Christmas Tree in the living room. Then I helped dad bring in the larger tree for the sun-porch. Then he and Andrew set it up and decorated it.

In the afternoon we took a ride into town to check out the shops and to get out of the house. We had to break up the day a bit and change up the scenery. We checked out some of the shops along main street in Falmouth. Eva likes a surf and skate shop there. Not exactly sure the draw for her but she enjoys it. We also looked at the book store and my parents got Andrew a Mad Libs book. he could not wait to do a Mad Libs with everyone. He loves how silly they are.

We had a nice dinner and then settled in to watch another Christmas movie. this time we watched Klaus on Netflix. It was a cute movie. I had heard it was good from Andrew an Allison. they had already seen it but liked it enough to watch again. It was a different sort of story but a good one.
