Birthday Dinner for Andrew

Jumbo Pretzel

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #00329

We celebrated birthday dinner for Andrew at Fitzy’s Pub. This was his choice. The kids’ school now has Fitzy’s deliver once a week and Andrew is a big fan of their spaghetti and meatballs. Dinner was very good and the pretzel we shared was one of the best ever. Andrew was thrilled to go for dinner and they had a good selection of food. Good wings, too.

I am so ready for Summer on the Cape in 2020. I received the new Bose Alto Large Frames to try out and keep. These are amazing sunglasses with Bose speakers built in. They are actually the first audio sunglasses with built-in Bose speakers for an immersive audio experience unlike any other. The first time I tried mine I heard the sound so clearly that I thought it could be heard by everyone around me. I took of the sunglasses and couldn’t hear them at all. When I put them back on, perfect sound. It was astonishing.

I’ve worn these a couple of ways, on my face and on my head. Both ways you can still hear the sound. It sounds much better when worn properly but can still be heard when worn on top of my head. While initially I could not hear the sound when I too off the glasses I could hear it if I increased the volume. The nice thing is, you do not have to push the volume up very much to get great sound. People around you will have no idea that you are listening to anything through your glasses.

Bose Frames

I have a big head and so I was glad that the Bose Alto Large Frames fit me well. These are the sizes and dimensions of each of the Bose frames. You can click the links to go to the Best Buy site to learn more.

I have never listened to my music or podcasts in this way before. There is nothing in my ears so I can still hear all that is happening around me. I like the open-ear audio design of these frames. The frames even have a built in microphone so that you can take calls, access Siri or Google Assistant. If I need to pause my sound for any reason there is an easy to access button that I tap once to pause everything and tap once more to get the music rolling again.

These lenses are made for Sun and Sound. They have patented acoustic chambers as well as premium lenses that block up to 99% of UVA/UVB rays. The lenses are Shatter and scratch-resistant. The frames even come in a great case that has a magnetic clasp. Charging the frames is easy, too with a magnetic charging cable. Plus, you always know how much battery life you have because each time you place the frames on you will hear what the battery life is before you get going.

I cannot wait to get to the beach this Summer. I won’t have to fiddle around with headphones and I will always be ready to hear anyone when they are speaking to me, but at the same time I can be free to listen to my favorite tunes or a good audio book. I cannot wait!
