Chalk Art, mostly on Eva’s Clothes

Chalk Art
Photo-A-Day #1808

I’m loving our weekends so much more as the weather gets better. Today we did our usual round of Sunday activities, church, the supermarket and such. We didn’t go to the Farmer’s Market this week because there was nothing we needed there, and there was no need to go just to go. Maybe next week.

For Eva’s Easters gifts Allison picked up an un-spillable bubble bucket and also a huge set of sidewalk chalk. We would have waited for Easter however, the weather is so nice we couldn’t wait. Today we broke open the chalk and Allison made an entire garden of flowers, I drew a bunny and we traced Eva’s outline to make an Eva. Tara made a Hopscotch for Eva to play on. When she got bored of the chalk we broke out the Bubbles and she loved it.

Later on my parents came home and Eva got to play with Mem and Grandfather and show them her garden and rainbow and everything else. Eva also offered to cut up some of the tree that we got from our neighbors.

We decided to do dinner out tonight and since we had a gift card for Stone Forge in Foxboro we decided to go there. Allison contacted our friends Autumn and Kenny to see if they would like to meet up with us for dinner. It was the first time we had seen them in over a year. It was good to catch up.

Eva fell asleep on the way to the restaurant and she even stayed asleep in my arms for over 20 minutes. I couldn’t believe that. She has never done that. She usually would wake up right away and be a little cranky. I finally had to wake her up to have dinner. Dinner was delicious, I had a Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza, Allison had a Beet Salad and Eva some Chicken Fingers. There are some very tasty meals over at Stone Forge. We had a great time. We hope to see our friends again very soon.
