CozyPhones – Soft and Cute Headphones for the Kids

The Kids Rocking out with their CozyPhones

We received a couple of CozyPhones for free to use and review. Opinions are 100% our own.

In the past few years we have taken many car trips with the kids and this past February we went on a flight with them. Each time we go on our trips now the kids take along their activity packs with all sorts of things to keep themselves entertained. One of the things that they each have is an iPad. Eva has an iPad Mini and Andrew an iPad Air in a large protective case. We’ve gone through a number of headphones over the years, too. It is always fun to be driving down the road to hear that the headphones are hurting my head or to discover at the last minute that the headphones have been broken beyond repair. And when I say fun… I mean frustrating for both me and the kids.

Andrew and his Cat CozyPhones

We’re giving CozyPhones a try and so far the kids are pretty happy with the results. These are cute, soft headbands that have 1/8″ speakers that lay flat within the headband. This way the headbands fit nice and comfy and you can also easily remove them so that you can wash the headband. The headbands are also cute with characters. Both Eva and Andrew opted for some of the original style characters like the cat and the unicorn but CozyPhones also have licenses with Nickelodeon’s Paw Patrol and has styles for Chase, Marshall & Skye. I really thought that Andrew would have picked Chase but he opted for the CozyPhones original cat.

The CozyPhones also have a built-in volume control feature which limits the volume to 90 db. Eva remarked that she could also hear things around her when she was listening to the CozyPhones which honestly, I like. I like this because when we are in the car and the kids have on headphones they often don’t hear us when we try to get their attention. With the CozyPhones I believe that they’ll hear us much better when we need to talk to them.

There are other nice features to the CozyPhones. They use a durable 52″ braided cable and standard 3.5 mm stereo plug that will not kink, tangle or twist. Some of my own earbuds don’t even have a cable that nice. I like how the cable comes out the back of the CozyPhones, too. This way it can sit on either shoulder and not have the cables on each side of their heads, I find that less irritating myself. These are lightweight, have a great fit and they can also double as Sleep Masks. I forsee many more car trips with the kids using these.
