Down in Fraggle Rock

Photo-A-Day #1923

I was walking around the house and saw these two Black Eyed Susans and for some reason I immediately thought of The Trash Heap from Fraggle Rock. I’m not sure why it came to my mind but it did. The trash heap wears these funky glasses and it looks to me like the un-opened Black Eyed Susans look like the temples of her glasses. I’m thinking that we should get Fraggle Rock: Complete Series Collection (aff link) for Eva.

I’m really getting excited about the remaining conferences that I will be speaking at this year. I really need to set up a speaking page. I just set up my topic for a lightning talk at the next WordPress Providence Meetup. Mine will be about adding photos to your blog and the best plug ins for use with WordPress.

Tonight I spoke with Trisha Lyn Fawver and Mike Buechele for the Affiliate Marketing Fanatics Podcast. It was really good to talk with them on their podcast. I am loving podcasting. Tim Jones was also on the podcast and that was great because he is on the panel with me for the upcoming Affiliate Summit East in New York City.

    1. Aaron,

I remember it being on HBO and us not being able to see it, but that was before DVRs. I think we’ll get the box set for Eva. I think she’ll like it.

  1. I thought of the trash heap immediately after reading the title and seeing the PAD! LOVE IT!

We should get the collection! It was one of my favorites as a kid. And I think Eva would love it, too.

  2. LOVE IT!! I’ve been catching up with Mokie, Boober, and Red recently because I can watch all the seasons “on demand” with Netflix. I can even watch via my Wii. I love it-and it only costs me 9 bucks a month. I seriously did not mean to be a Netflix commercial!! Ha! I’m a Fraggle Rock nerd though…the Muppets are awesome…but Fraggle Rock was always my favorite.
