Enjoying a Beach Day

Eva at the Beach
Photo-A-Day #1879

It was nice having a long weekend here on the Cape. Maybe it was the salt air or maybe all the activity but Eva had some 12 hour+ nights of sleep. With her that rested it made for some really funny antics. She had us in stitches as she asked us to bury her feet in the sand over and over and then with superhuman strength she busted out of that sand to run and giggle and ask once more.

The beach time was wonderful. Playing with Eva there is so much fun. She is starting to do more on her own play and her imagination is something to behold. She starts little stories about things over and over.

We hung around till late in the afternoon and drove home through the crazy Canadian smoke. It was with us all the way home. It is going to be so tough to get back into the swing of things tomorrow at work. I’ll be starting it off with a Couch to 5K run. We also got to sleep in while at the Cape.:-)

    1. MIL – That she is. I’m glad that you are enjoying the photos of Eva and I hope you caught the rest of them from the day of kayaking.

  2. That is a cute pic of Eva. Looks like she is enjoying kayaking and family trips to the Cape. What a happy kid she is. Very photogenic, for sure.

That stupid smoke, how annoying. We were up in Manchester, NH for the weekend. We stayed at the hotel next to the Fisher Cats ballpark, and saw the haze, then smelled it once we walked out the door. Ugh. I’m actually hoping for rain so that it can get washed away, it stunk from ManchVegas to here. Gack.
.-= Look at what Christine wrote blog ..Pain in my balls, is what it is! =-.

    1. Christine,
We did get the rain last night and a lightshow to boot. Of course I was up at 2:00am closing all the windows.

thank you, Eva is photogenic, so much so that Edaville RR is featuring not one but three photos of her in their advertising.

    1. Deborah,
The tiring out lasted just the weekend, she was back up and ready to go at 5:40am this morning.
