Fisheye View of Southern New England Media Makers

Fisheye of SNEMM
Photo-A-Day #2144

This morning I attended the monthly meeting for Southern New England Media Makers at Morin’s in Attleboro. I really like attending these events. I learn so much from everyone who is there. People who are making videos, helping people in their communities and more. My friend Bruce K. Garber recently went to Japan and he brought me back a couple of manga magazines. That was really nice of him. We took a few pictures of me looking through them.

After SNEMM I stopped at Tedeschi and picked up Toy Story 3 from BlockBuster. Then I dropped by home and picked up Allison and Eva. We went off to Walmart so that I could pick up a box of Orville Redenbacher Pop Up Bowls. We did that and came home so that we could watch Toy Story 2 together. Neither Eva nor Allison had ever seen that movie. We popped up two bowls and really enjoyed them as we watched the movie. I even added a bag of M&M’s to the popcorn to really jazz ’em up. Eva liked that. We enjoyed a nice family movie and then had breakfast for dinner. Allison made Blueberry and Strawberry pancakes.

Tonight I also recorded an episode of Geek Dads Weekly with Daniel M. Clark. We talked about some really fun stuff like all the gadgets I got this week. One of them was a Fisheye Lens that attaches to cameras like those on cell phones. The lenses attach with magnets with a stick on metal ring. I got a wide angle/macro lens and a fisheye lens. Over the month of March I’ve decided that I’ll finally go through all of the gadgets that I’ve gotten for my cameras over time and spotlight them on the daily posts.

Later tonight Allison and I watched Toy Story 3. A great end to the series. We wanted to make sure that it wasn’t too scary for Eva.

    1. Hi Steve,

No problem with it yet. I was able to stick it on easily. The only issue I have is that it covers the flash, not that I really use that camera for photos but in a pinch I do.

  1. I’m glad you liked the Toy Story’s!! I love the characters…aside from Nemo they are my favorite Pixar peeps:) I’m looking forward to Flower & Garden at Epcot this year because it will focus on Pixar for the first time. I could see they were getting the flowers ready this weekend for the first glance topiaries-they were in Buzz Purple and White:) They are amazing there! Oh, your story reminded me when I took G to see Dispicable Me in the theater and she “accidentally” dumped a box of Bunch a Crunch in…she felt so bad but it worked out. We call it “G’s Recipe.” 🙂

    1. Mo,

that sounds awesome. You know how jealous I am about you attending Disney all the Time, You are seeing some fantastic stuff!

  2. Looks like you have fun. I loved Toy Story 3. I actually made me cry a little bit. Made me remember all my toys growing up. 🙂

  3. Drew- These meetups look pretty cool. I am “going video” on my Hot Dog Stories site and I think I could learn a lot at these meet ups. I am going to go to the next one I can get to.

Don’t forget- we should do a Spring story at the Trolley next time you are down in Framingham! Dueling video…
