The other day I received a package of Johnsonville Smoked Sausages.
“Big deal Drew you are always talking about Johnsonville, what is so great about these sausages?”
Well, they are pizza flavored and they are delicious. That is the big deal. The smokes sausages are filled with Italian cheese, tomatoes and spices. The flavor is incredible.
These are so new that they aren’t even on the Johnsonville Website yet. They are in limited distribution right now but I hope that the distribution gets wider soon. They are very tasty. I had a couple with pasta and cucumbers the other night and felt like I could eat a few more. I will also make some with sauce and melted cheese on top sort of like a pizza hot dog or something like that.
Another thing that I liked about these sausages was the resealable package. I hate opening encased meat products and having no way of sealing them back up without transferring them to another container or something. This way I can have a couple today and a couple in another few days. No extra mess.

No fair posting that deliciousness before breakfast. Looks like perfect tailgating food. I’ll be watching the store shelves for it. If it doesn’t come South soon, I’ll be very unhappy.

Yeah, sorry. I’m now blogging early mornings as I walk on my TrekDesk, treadmill desk. I’m a bit more productive in the mornings now.
I love these sausages! I have always at least 5 packs in the freezer and use them as an “emergency food” when I do not know what to make the kids! They love them too!
