Happy 4th of July!

Okay so I am two days late with this.

The 4th of July was a great time at the Bennett Residence in Falmouth. On Saturday Allison and I went to the Bourne Bridge to do some walking/roller blading. Allison walked with a couple of women who were also walking for the Breast Cancer 3 Day. I took my roller blades and did the 10 mile loop up and back. We had a very nice day.

We also got some silver colored Adirondack chair drawer pulls for our bureau in our room at the cape. I got a chance to put together 1 of the nightstands (the other one gave me two “right” sides so that couldn’t go together.) The decorations are slowly coming together for the room.

After a nice day on the beach, we took Allison’s parent’s to dinner at the Parrot Bar and Grille in Cataumet. The meal was very nice, followed by ice cream at the Somerset Creamery.

On Sunday we slept in (If you can call 6:00am sleeping in) and after the neighborhood parade festivities we went to the beach for the day. I started reading Dan Brown’s Digital Fortress and Allison was reading Iris Johansen’s The Search.

We had many people on the beach with us. Uncle Wayne, Murf, Dave, Aunt Cindy, Cathy, Connie and Chris, Cousins Erin, Paige, Justin and Nick came from the Bennett side, Plus Grandma and Grandpa. And from the Williams side was Aunt Donna, Cousin Carissa and Lindsey. After the beach we had a cookout and then went back to the beach for a great Falmouth Fireworks display. It was great to see everyone and enjoy a long weekend.
