Happy Easter 2011

Photo-A-Day #2207

Today was a wonderful Easter. We were up early and off to 8:00am Mass. Eva sat with Auntie Tara and Uncle Erik and Memere. Allison and I sat two pews up with Grandfather. It was a nice Mass and Fr. Dave’s homily was entertaining and informative. After Mass I took a photo of Eva with my cameraphone and sent it to Mimi and Grandpa Dano’s Kodak Pulse wi-fi enabled Digital Photo Frame. I also posted it to Facebook. She was so cute.

We came home and I went upstairs to play Easter Bunny and hide all of Eva’s Eggs. We filled her eggs with some Disney Princess Squinkies (They fit perfectly inside plastic Easter Eggs), Hot Wheels cars and some Hershey’s Chocolate Bunnies. We figured that we wouldn’t load her up with too much chocolate. While that wasn’t our intent it still happened. Eva had her fill of chocolate today including M&Ms, chocolate bunnies and Reese’s peanut butter eggs. To be honest, Allison and I had plenty of them too.

After Eva tore through the house for eggs upstairs. She then proceeded to search for eggs downstairs at Mem and Grandfather’s. She entertained and delighted everyone with her antics and her beautiful Easter dress.

We had a nice family dinner with everyone. Mem and Grandfather, Tara and Erik, Shelby and Tim and us. We had a delicious easter ham. Allison made two kinds of potatoes and there was salad and fresh pineapple. After the meal we were visited by my Grandfather and cousin Nick.

It was a very nice day. The weather was fantastic, I just wish it had come yesterday and stayed till today because Eva searching for eggs outside is so much fun. It also makes for better photos. I got some good ones but nothing like you get in an outdoor egg hunt.

To top off the day we were visited by the Easter Bunny.
