Happy Halloween 2014

Photo-A-Day #3493

It was an exciting Halloween around here this year. Andrew is old enough now to understand Trick or Treating. He loves it. He was in costume for pretty much the whole day. We started off with Play Group and for drop in group the kids came in costumes. Andrew wore his Captain America costume and took along the shield as well. As we were walking into the building the sun was out and looked really cool. I had Andrew stop while I took a bunch of photos of him in heroic poses like the one below.

I picked up Mimi and Grandpa Dano from the airport today because their flight last night was all messed up. So I picked them up and we got home just before Allison and the kids got home from school. We had a nice dinner of beef stew and then it was time to get changed up for trick or treating.

Andrew was Buzz Lightyear for Trick or Treating. He had a great costume complete with flashing lights on the jet pack. That was tough to follow around as we went house to house. The flashing lights really got to my eyes in the dark but he looked really cute.

Eva was a Dragon Queen. She worked with my sister Tara on designing the costume and Tara made the costume for her. It was a dress complete with a tail and a cape. Eva brought her dragon from King Richard’s Faire. She also had her colorful sneakers and a hot pink jack o’lantern bucket to collect her candy.

As for me, I was sort of a Monster Hunter. I had my new Loot Crate Death by Kitten’s T-Shirt, my Steampunk Goggles and my Nerf Slingfire.

The kids had a very nice night. We had good Trick or Treaters and Mimi and Grandpa Dano got to see the kids have a nice night.
