Fast Friends... PAD #1128

Eva and her friend M. posed for me today. We visited M’s parent’s Ryan and Amy. Allison Eva and Amy went to a meeting while I did a few things around the house and ran some errands. Then I met Ryan at the Movies when Allison and Amy returned from their meeting. Ryan and I went to see Iron Man. Seeing it a second time was just as good as the first and since both Ryan and I are big comic book fans he knew a few things to look for and I knew a few things to point out. We both caught something that the other missed.

Before I met up with Ryan I stopped at Target and used some birthday money to pick up Mario Kart Wii. It is very fun. It comes with a Mario Kart Wheel and unless you have one you have to either use the classic controller the wiimote and the nuchuk or the gamecube controller. The Wii steering wheel does something to the wiimote to enhance it. We played that after dinner along with Super Smash Brother’s Brawl. It is gonna be tough to go back to our 26″ TV after playing it on the big screen.

I am still working on my Super Smash Brother’s Brawl review, the game is immense and awesome and there are so many features to it as well that the review needs some time to be digested and then formulated.

Tomorrow is Mother’s Day, call your Mom.

  1. hehehe…you’re behind on your Iron Man viewings 😉

I’ve seen it 3 times now, it’s excellent! every. single. time.

I can’t wait for April 30, 2010; the release of Iron Man 2!

    Courtney’s last blog post..What I Remember

  2. Are you using my naming convention now? You are close but I would have used Ryan’s M although I have really not thought about how it works for people. Now you have given me something to ponder.

  3. Courtney,

I guess it would be safe to say that you enjoyed the movie. Yeah I usually will see it twice in the theater is I like it. Three times, hardly ever. I didn’t even see Transformers 3 times in the theater and that was the movie I waited my whole life to see.

  4. Stephen,
Yes you were the inspiration for keeping the names of the innocent out of this blog. However I think that people are their own so I would not say Ryan’s M. Keep pondering.
