Monkey Business… PAD #1202

Monkey Business... PAD #1202

I am in Seattle. Did I go downtown today, no. Why? I was whipped from my flights today. So I opted to hit Bahama Breeze with the team and head to bed. Over our table there was this chandelier that had carved monkeys on it. Pretty much the most interesting thing for me to shoot today.

I had a middle seat for my flight to Seattle, that was long. I finished reading the Iron Man Comic book. Now I can get it back to Ryan. I also watched Dr. Horrible’s Sing-A-Long Blog, again. I liked watching it all over again. It is a tragic story that could only be told by Joss Whedon and in song no less. Neil Patrick Harris was awesome as Dr. Horrible. His mannerisms, facial expressions and delivery of lines was perfect. Nathan Fillion was also very good as Captain Hammer. If you haven’t seen this buy it from iTunes and watch it. It is worth the $4.00.

I also got caught up on Geek Brief.TV episodes and each time I watch those podcasts it makes me want to podcast more and become better at it. I have tons of footage from the kayak trip but haven’t had any means with which to edit the footage. The software is at home and I really want to get it out there.

I’ve also been testing another Nokia phone. This time it is the Nokia 5310. It is a music phone and is packed with great features. A full review is in the works.

  1. I haven’t been to Seattle in a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time!!! I was born in Bremerton, WA…which is near there. I think a ferry has to be involved though…so maybe not so near? If you go to the docks you have to check out the fish mongers…I’m a fan! PS-I’m jealous you are going to London!! Safe travels!!!

  2. Mo,
I was unaware that you were born in WA. I figured that you were ME to the core. Really, that was what I thought. My whole world has been changed. I went to the docks for a bit and to the fish market, I didn’t see anyone throwing fish so my photos today were a bit lame. I am very psyched about London.

  3. frankly speaking…that image was frighting when I first saw it…I would have sued you if I had a hear attack…for not warning me 😛

  4. Yup! It’s a fact! I was very little though-all I remember is the apartment we lived in and my pre-school…specifically when we did art. I even remember making ornaments from sugar, styrofoam balls, and napkins. I don’t remember HOW we made them-I just know that we did. That would be something cool to find out. I freaked my dad out when I told him last year that I even remember the layout of our apartment. He was there on business last fall and he said it’s changed quite a bit. And of course, I definitely remember the ferry and taking it over to Seattle and going up the Space Needle. Someday I’ll get back there:)

  5. Mo,
That is very cool that you remember all of that detail. It must have really made an impression on you. You’ll get back there. I’d like to go back and be more of a tourist on another visit.
