Photo-A-Day #570 10/30/06

Today Allison and I were at the Cape. We slept late and had a wonderful night of sleep. It is so great to sleep down there. Despite the wind I, as usual, heard nothing and slept so well. Two pages of my book Tyrannosaur Canyon and I was out like a light. This morning I eased into the day by reading six or seven chapters. It is great to have a night og good sleep and where you actually wake up refreshed the next morning.

Allison took a walk on the beach and picked up a few shells that had gotten blow onto the beach by the big winds of last night. She even found a good piece of sea glass.

We had lunch at the British Beer Company with Dad and then made our way home. Later in the afternoon we headed over to the hospital to visit Derek and Michelle and baby Nicholas. The baby is adorable. He slept like a little angel a little while after we had arrived. So we got a chance to talk with the new parents. They are so excited and we are so excited for them. We’ll go over this weekend with some food that Allison is making and I’ll take a few baby pictures. I didn’t want to disturb Nicholas while he slept.

We stopped at Fortune House on the way home. I can’t get enough of that place. No other Chinese food is good enough anymore. It all pales in comparison to the Fortune House.

The Sanyo Xacti C6

I am in the market to purchase one of these ones. I know a friend who has the Sanyo Xacti C6 and he really likes it. It is about time to replace my Sanyo Xacti C4 with a better upgraded model. I’m pretty excited about finding one and getting it. Now that I know how to make videos with it and Adobe Premiere I’m all set.
