Photo-A-Day #729 04/07/07

Marble Easter Eggs

Marcia and Allison are packing up things from the basement. I went down and they were on Easter decorations. Allison was picking through the easter eggs and she didn’t want these marble eggs. I liked them so I took them. I brought them to the front yard and took some photos.

The first photo was sort of accidental and became today’s Photo-A-Day. I had the camera settings still set for Color Accent and the color was a bright red. A couple of the eggs have some red in them so this is how it came out. I like the effect and so did Allison and Marcia. Sometimes my best photos are happy accidents.

I also took some full color shots with the macro setting too.

As I was heading into the house I saw some bunny tracks. I think it was seasonally appropriate to get this last shot as well.

Easter eggs and Bunny Tracks

It may be a little quiet around here (meaning this blog) tomorrow because it is Easter. So I hope everyone has a nice Easter.

I put up some cool things on my other blogs today. On my other three blogs I got my social bookmarks added to the end of each post, I’m still figuring out how to do that here on this blog. Take a look at some of them. If you would like.

On the BenSpark 2: Electric Boogaloo I posted a funny video of Alanis Morisette doing a cover of the Black Eyed Peas – My Humps.

On The Wired Kayaker I wrote a post about The Camping Coop.

On Flatwater Tech I was very busy and wrote about what will become my new favorite pastime, Photo Walking.

Also on Flatwater Tech I wrote about a new blog directory called Blog Sire’s Top Blogs.

I also sent out an e-mail to all of my friends and family to help vote for me to get Paid to Blog for a Year. These are my stats from today. The top person has 665 votes. I need 642 votes to catch up.

Current Rank: 27 of 49 (you want to be #1)
Total votes: 23
Total donations: $10

  1. Love the photo of the stone eggs, but especially pleased to see the Easter Bunny made it to your place.

What a busy bunny he has been over Easter.
