This is This is Winnie The Roo– Bedtime Bear. I am still up in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The demo went well today. I can finally relax and breathe. Tomorrow I head off to Lincoln Nebraska. They make Fiddle Faddle and Poppycock there at Lincoln Snacks. I looked to see if there was a tour but there is not. I will however have to buy a box of the stuff because that is what I have decided I should do in Lincoln Nebraska.
But I am in Manitoba and I came across the Bears on Broadway open exhibit on the road. I was taking a couple of people with me back from the demo and was talking to them about my blogs and photo-a-day and we saw the bears. They said that the bears should be my Photo-A-Day. They offered to take the photos for me but I assured them that I could do it myself with my QuikPod. So I hopped out the car and got my equipment from the trunk and then ran across the road to get a picture with all of the bears on that corner. Here are all of the other Bears.
What I learned from taking these photos is that I aim the camera too high and I am really going bald on top. I knew it would happen sooner or later but sometimes it just hits you out from left field.
The Bears on Broadway project was done to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of Cancer Cares Manitoba and 62 bears graced the median along Broadway. I’m not sure exactly when that was but they are scattered around the city now.
I love finding things like that and I love it even more when I can get out and get a photo taken, but with my QuikPod I do not have to ask for anyone to take my photos.

Ben- Fiddle faddle! One of my favorites. Liked the pictures of the world’s bears. Why not go up to Chgo after you leave Lincoln and visit the Bears there? Ha-ha. Thanks for the pics.
