Photo Hunters: Candy

Photo-Hunt Candy

This is our haul from the Chocolate Stroll that our local downtown association does each year. It was very tasty. Doesn’t Eva look like a little Godzilla in Candyland? My Candy submission for Photo Hunters.

  1. imac,
I’m sure she will be a fan of chocolate. Thanks for stopping by and I dropped over to visit you as well.

  2. I think she looks adorable!!! But ewwwwwwww, the cavities!

Well, I have one candy that’s nutless, and one candy with nuts…stop by and enjoy the sweetness!

    Have a great weekend.

  3. Kim,
Yeah, luckily it will be a while yet before we will let her have any of the candy, not ready for the bouncing off the walls just yet.

  4. Absolutely adorable!!! Your pictures are always so entertaining! However, how in the world do you have time to do all you do on your blogs, take pictures and have family time like you do. It’s all I can do to keep up with one main blog, and 3 others let alone take pictures, send comments, reply to comments, write half decent articles, etc etc etc. But I know…you’ve been at this for several years now so I imagine you have it down pretty good now, don’t you??? Good job!!!

  5. Sandy,

The Chocolate Lover’s stroll is a great way to get people in and out of the downtown establishments. It is a wonderful community builder.

  6. Karen,
Yeah, she had to be held back, smelling that great chocolate and seeing all the candy is enough to drive anyone wild.

  7. Ellen,

It is a balancing act. The thing I try and make sure I do is get things done right away. I also have learned to schedule things like the Photo-Hunters images. Since we know what the theme is going to be weeks out I can cull through the photos that I have and decide which one will work best, write the post when I have the time and schedule it to post on the correct day. For responding to comments the best advice is to do it as they come in and don’t let them build up that much or you will get behind. I do this with the regular mail as well. A good inbox is an empty inbox with everything responded to and tidy.

  8. Hi Stanley,
I appreciate the comments that that you took the time to make them. And thanks for the compliment on baby Eva.

  9. Hi Eaglehawk,
I’ve been visiting your blog, I appreciate that you came to mine and took the time to leave a comment. Thanks for the compliment on the photo as well.

  10. I wish my city did something like that! We only have a community thing like that on Halloween. She looks a bit overwhelmed by all her choices 🙂

Can you email me at table4five(at)gmail(dot)com when you get a chance, please? I’m having problems with my domain email, and I need to get the Photo A Day code from you. Thanks!
