Photo-Hunters – Five – 05/12/07

Photo Hunters - Five - 05/12/07

I came across these Five Funky Monkeys at the Harley-Davidson shop in the Charlotte North Carolina airport. They were just hanging out, the Five of them. They wanted a photo and I was happy to oblige.

Welcome to my blog fellow Photo Hunters, this is only my third photo hunt and I love it. Please take a look around. I take a Photo-A-Day and have over 750+ of them from the past 2+ years.

I have a post that I’d like for you to read and help me out if you can I am participating in a contest on my friend Christine’s Blog and it is for a DVD of Alton Brown’s Feasting on Asphalt. I am a huge AB fan and would like to win. Christine has polls open for voting now. And you can vote each day until May 16th, the blogger with the most votes wins. Here is my post for the contest. You can vote for me (DREW) at Christine’s Blog. A quick vote each day for the next four days is all I ask. Thanks. Happy Photo Hunting.

  1. These are the cutest monkeys although I must admit that at first I thought those ears were funny cows ears. But no, monkeys it is….
Glad you enjoy the hunt. It is a lot of fun!

  2. Did you know your blog is a mess in firefox? lol Cute monkeys. Are they up to any monkey business?

  3. Rose, A mess in what way, I use firefox and it looks perfectly fine to me, please elaborate. And yes the monkeys are up to monkey business.

  4. Jenn in Holland,
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for checking out the voting. Those monkeys were awfully cute and begging for a photo.

  5. Thanks,

Not trying to confuse, everyone assumes my name is Ben Spark and it is not. BenSpark came from an amalgam of my last name and my wife’s maiden name. See, no more confusion. Thanks for stopping by and the comment.

  6. Thanks for the comments on the cool Harley Monkeys, yep that is what makes them Harley Monkeys. That and they were hanging out in a Harley shop.

  7. Love the pic! Harley Monkey is cute! I love your photos!! What kind of a camera do you use ? I just got a Nikon DX80 and I am still learning :p Thanks for stopping by my blog for Photo hunters.

  8. Sara,
Thanks for stopping by, I have a Nikon D80 but when I travel I take a more compact camera in the Canon SD800is. And I have a Sanyo Xacti C4 but hardly use that one anymore.

  9. I did not buy one, probably should have, but I will most likely be back at that shop in a future travel adventure. Thanks for stopping by.

  10. Hey there Mom Unplugged. Yeah it was perfect that there were five. I was on a mission in the airport to get 5 of something and then I saw the monkeys.

  11. Boy do you get to travel! I love the photo a day concept, and now that I’m traveling again daily and am not at the house, I might think about doing this also…

Very cool and thanks for stopping by.

  12. Hey Expat,
Let me know if you start Photo-A-Day, I have a bumpzee community for Photo-A-Day enthusiasts. Thanks for the visit.

  13. Hey Drew, my daughter flew in for our son’s, her brother, graduation from college. She changed plans in Charlotte on Friday!

    Cute monkeys.

  14. OOpps. that was supposed to say planes.

I forgot to say how cute your wife looks all pregnant and barefoot!

  15. Hi Karen,
Thanks for the comments. I spent quite a bit of time in the Charlotte airport Friday. We may have crossed paths as I was out photographing things.
