Review: Brave Ultimate Collector’s Edition 5 Disc 3D Combo Pack

Settle in Wee ones because this is gonna be a long one with videos, activities and more. Back before Brave came out we attended a sneak preview of the movie and LOVED it. There were some scary parts that had Eva covering her eyes but for most of the movie she was wide eyed and loving seeing Merida on the screen. She even dressed as Merida for the movie. Well, when the movie came up for release on DVD and Blu-ray I definitely wanted to get this for our collection and the set is even better than the movie itself because it has so many great extras and in Blu-ray on the big screen at home it plays so beautifully.

I just really enjoy knowing more about production of movies and what went into making such amazing art. This set certainly gave me more than I ever wanted with fun shorts, looks inside the production and great commentaries. Learning more about the Legend of Mor’Du was cool. Also having the little short, La Luna is nice because that was so cute. Ea loved that.

I also like that the digital copy was included with this movie. We actually put the digital copy of the movie on the iPad and Eva and I watched it on the train ride back from New York City the other day. I think that she was even Braver this time around, especially at the scary parts with Mor’Du.

Pick up this movie, it is going to become a classic and there are so many cool versions out, but this version the Ultimate Collector’s Edition has it all. I gotta get a 3D Blu-Ray player so we can enjoy the 3D as well. Here are some goodies surrounding the movie. Enjoy. Make it a Brave Weekend.

  1. I loved Brave in the cinema, so OK do hope that the UK release on Blu-Ray has all the same great features, but sadly, most of the time we don’t get them.

      1. Sometimes it depends on the releases Drew, we’ve had releases on this side of the pond that have had hardly any special features and then we’ve had others that had had loads more than releases on your side of the pond.

I suppose it depends on how the distributors warrant what go on or not!
