Super Impulse sent me their new Rubik’s Tilt for free to play with and review. Opinions are my own.

The Rubik’s Cube is such an interesting toy. I have never been able to successfully solve the puzzle without help. The nice thing is that with the Rubik’s Tilt there is a hint option that helps you along with solving the puzzle. That’s not even all the features to this new toy.

New Rubiks Tilt

With the Rubik’s Tilt you turn, tilt and twist the toy in order to manipulate the cube. It takes a little getting used to but eventually the more that you play it becomes rather intuitive. There are three buttons on the back of the left side that correspond to the three rows on the cube. Then you can select 1, 2 or all 3 rows to move at once.

Other features include various levels of skill and a timer for speed cubing. There is also sound and you can control the levels for all of those features. I personally like to have no sound and am happy that I can turn it off completely. There is a good hand feel to the game and the kids picked up on it immediately. It is great to take with you in your pocket or a purse. The toy goes for $24.99 and is recommended for ages 8 and up. You can pick this up from Amazon.com through my affiliate link if you are so inclined.
