Saint Patrick’s Day Giveaway Thanks to Catholic Central

Saint Patricks Day Snacks

We love Saint Patrick’s Day in our house. Each year we make a traditional boiled dinner, Irish Soda bread, try and catch leprechauns and enjoy tasty snacks. This year we are hosting a special giveaway in conjunction with Catholic Central. They sent us a bamboo cheese board with slide out drawer that includes stainless steel cutting and serving knives. You can see them in the video below.

Here is an example of what a typical plate looks like at our house on Saint Patrick’s Day.

Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner

When the leprechauns come to the house they wreak havoc all around the place and make tons of things green including pancakes.

Saint Patricks Breakfast

We’ve done special snacks as well and with green milk to accompany them.

  1. We usually have some Irish themed foods and make sure to wear green! My maiden name was Patrick and my parents were married on St Patrick’s Day ☘️

  2. I make a very green breakfast: green pancakes, green grapes, spinach leaves, cucumber, and a mint smoothie. My husband puts in the crock pot: corn beef, cabbage, carrots and potatoes. I made beer bread to go with all that. So mostly the holiday revolves around food.

  3. when i was a kid we made for sure to wear green and pinched the ones who didnt remember. That was fun but lately st patricks day has gotten big! We did more for it than we did for Valentines 🙂

  4. We don’t really do much.. I wore green as a kid, but lately we just eat corned beef
