    1. Dina,

I think so too. Too bad I work weekends and have already scheduled out all my vacation time. BTW, we have a nice new room all ready for guests (or it will be ready soon) at our new place if you’re coming up for a visit.

      1. I can come in October or November, would either of those work for you? I can’t wait to see you guys again- I saw the pic of Eva on the pony did she have fun? We should go on a trail ride!

        1. Dina,

That would be great but it is not the best time for us. Allison is due on the 16th of November and October and November might be pretty crazy around here.

          1. Bah I kept thinking September – hrmmmm I’ve got a wedding in NY in September kinda screwing with my calendar. Maybe ASW? Will that be too soon post-babydom?

            1. Dina, you just can’t win. I won’t be at ASW. I’m laying off the conferences for a while. Just can’t swing the expense anymore, I’ve got to be serious about making extra money.

    1. Sanjay,

I think it all depends upon what you’d like to do. You can do the most with a DSLR. But you can also make great photos with an iPhone. I have a Nikon DSLR and so I am partial to that line. People say great things about Canon too. I use Kodak for my point and shoots. It is really a matter of opinion. But get one and start shooting.

  1. true at first I got a Nikon D40, well the images are pretty good.. well suited for beginner like me, then after that I bought a new Nikon d90 and after a month d5100 i really love the effects of d5100. but the d90 is more professional.

  2. With havin so much written content do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright violation? My website has a lot of unique content I’ve either created myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my permission. Do you know any ways to help stop content from being stolen? I’d definitely appreciate it.

    1. Hi Wes,

Thanks for the question. I have people taking my photos and content all the time. There are some plug ins that you can use to prevent this a little but for the most part they are just scraper scumbags. I know there are some ways to prevent this but I’ve never tried. I try not to pay these people much mind. I’d love it if you’d use your name the next time you post a comment. I almost marked you as spam and I think that you had a good point so there is a real person behind the comment. Thanks for the comment, I wish I could help more with plagiarism and stealing thing.
