I am beyond thrilled to see the new She-Ra and the Princesses of Power trailer for many reasons. I watched the original show back when I was a kid and the nostalgia is great. I am enjoying the jokes I see in the trailer. Eva and Andrew watched the trailer with me and they were excited. I love finding shows that the three of us can watch together and the last and most important reason is Aimee Carrero, the voice of She-Ra. I met and interviewed her four years ago when she was doing promo for Young and Hungry. She was wonderful to talk to and I even took a photo with her that day. I am excited to see what she does with the character.

The New York Comic Con is happening and during it the new trailer for the show debuted and there were a few actors and actresses from the show on hand along with the show’s creator Noelle Stevenson. Below is a press release about what is happening at the She-Ra booth and what happened at the panel. I am going to have to take exception to what was reported regarding that the crowd was shouting. The release scrambles the battle cry of He-Man and She-Ra into one. He-Man says, “By the Power of Grayskull!” She-Ra says, “For the Honor of Grayskull!”. The press release says that the crowd was shouting “For the Power of Grayskull”. Nope, that did not happen, not with a whole room full of She-Ra fans. No way! Watch the trailer below and you will know She-Ra’s battle cry. I for one am still trying to figure out how they are going to explain Grayskull in the show when there is no He-Man, Eternia, The Sorceress or Castle Grayskull.

I am excited to see the show when it debuts on November 16th. This should be a fun one and I am hoping it opens the door for a He-Man revival.
