Spring is on the Way

Photo-A-Day #2158

I went out for a walk with Eva today and I wanted to use my Opteka HD2 High Definition Macro/Wide Angle Lens for some Wide Angle shots. The thing is, I was not happy with the shots that I took with wide angle. I enjoyed what came from the macro shots that I took instead.

Here is what the Wide Angle lens got when it was on my Sigma 28mm – 70mm lens.

And here is what I got with the adapter taken off.

I took a bunch of other photos and to day I saw my first caterpillar of the season and quickly took the wide angle portion of the lens off the camera so that I could shoot macro.

You can even see me reflected on the head of the caterpillar. Very, very cool.

I really like how the lens works on my Sigma Lens as well.

Then I used the wide angle to take a couple of fun shots of Eva.

And now Scary Face

This is my own personal DSLR camera that I bought half of. My mother-In-Law bought the other half as an investment of great photos of her grandchildren. With over 26,000 photos of Eva and counting, I’d say she got great ROI on the investment. The opinions about them are 100% mine.
