Today was the Annual Chocolate Loves Stroll in downtown North Attleboro. The event is sponsored every year by the Downtown Associates of North Attleborough. This is a wonderful event that we like to participate in. Last year we were too late to get a bag but this year I went down very early to make sure we could get one. The setup was decent this year with lines set up early and inside, that was key.

Forty-three local businesses participated in the Chocolate Lovers Stroll. This is a wonderful way for local businesses to attract more new customers. For instance I am really excited to see the train store because I think I’ll be checking back in over there to maybe go and take some photos. The miniature trains would make fantastic subjects for my macro lens.

It was also a good day to be a rep from Blue Hills Brewery. While we were getting some chocolate at The Liquor Spot. There was a guy who was doing taste tests of some beers from Blue Hills Brewery. I’m looking to get out there and tour the place sometime soon. They are located in Canton, MA.

Many of the businesses had specialty items like special shaped chocolates and also things like cookies and cupcakes. There were even marshmallows that could be dipped in chocolate and then into sprinkles and crushed graham crackers and more. We came home with a decent bag of chocolate. Allison and Eva had a fun time eating the marshmallow on a stick.

After the stroll we had a nice lunch together at SoupWorks and then watched Shrek Forever After. Eva seemed to like it except for a few parts. I think it was a decent wrap up of the series. There were some really funny parts and great callbacks to the earlier episodes in the series.
