SwagsGiving 2 Giveaway: Math Dice Jr.

Want to get your kids interested in Math and think mathematically you’ve got to get them Math Dice Jr. from ThinkFun. All of the ThinkFun games that we’ve played have been fantastic. We’ve got Snack Attack, HyperSwipe and Bug Trails. On my iPad I have Rush Hour and Solitaire Chess, also from ThinkFun. The games are mentally challenging and fun at the same time. Math Dice Jr. is that same sort of game, one that is fun to play and makes you think.

With Math Dice Jr. players have one 12 sided Target Die and five Scoring Dice. The object is to use addition and/or subtraction of the five Scoring Dice to get to the target number on the Target Die. Eva and I have played this game together a couple of times and while I have to help her score points she does enjoy playing. I figure that the more we play the more she’ll pick up on the math combinations.

The set comes with the 5 6-sided Dice, the 1-12 sided Die, a play mat, instructions and a bag to carry all the game pieces. I LOVE that feature. ThinkFun takes many of their games and includes a drawstring bag to keep all the pieces together. This makes it so easy to take the game with you on the go.

You can learn more about ThinkFun and their games at the ThinkFun Website, ThinkFun Facebook page and ThinkFun Twitter feed. If you would like to win your own Math Dice Jr. Set please use the Rafflecopter widget below.

  1. raging rapids and adam’s cube sound coolio. I love brainteasers because they reinforce my brilliance.

  2. Hi,
These games look very good. I have a 7 year old nephew who lives with me because his mother left. He is angry and has some emotional issues but he is good in math and likes challenges. I think this game would be great fro him because it is hard to find things for him to do and stay focused.
    Thanks,
    Jim
