How to use amiibo with The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild on Nintendo Switch

Playing The Legend of Zelda, Breath of the Wild has been a ton of fun. Today I took out the amiibo characters of Archer Link and Zelda for Breath of the Wild. They each give great treasure chests full of items and if you are lucky you can get really rare stuff.

After I made today’s video I went online and learned a bunch about the use of amiibo characters in the game. I’ve been checking out other YouTube videos on the amiibo figures and have come across some great information and also fun uses for even MORE amiibo characters. The old Zelda related ones can give you even MORE great stuff!!!

However, you can use every amiibo character that you have. When you put on a Legend of Zelda related amiibo figure then you get a treasure chest in addition to extra items. The treasure chest may contain really rare items and the additional items might be really good, too. I realized that I have more amiibo than I thought I had and used all of them to get a bunch of great stuff including arrows, ingredients and more. I wish I had thought to try the others before I made the video. You can even use the Bowser and Donkey Kong Skylanders/amiibo characters to gain more items. I swear that Donkey Kong dropped bananas.

On another note, I’ve drained the battery more than once playing Zelda, it is awesome!

August’s #LootCrate #Unboxing : Anti-Hero

I really liked this crate. This one had some great stuff from Harley Quinn, Archer, Hellboy, World of Warcraft and Kill Bill. The only thing on that list I’m not much of a fan of is Kill Bill. I never watched that movie so it isn’t really something I have much to say about.

I really like Archer and the shirt definitely captures one of the more fun recurring callbacks of the show. Also, perfectly timed for the Election Season.

The Hellboy item is also cool, but I won’t be saving much in it. It is a bank of Hellboy’s hand. It isn’t that large, certainly not Hellboy-sized, but it can hold a couple of bucks.

The Loot Pin is a World of Warcraft one and the incentive for that this time is for a bunch of online game packs as part of the overall game, for new players only. I may just give it a try.

There is also a great statue of Harley Quinn from Batman: the Animated Series, included. Such a nice sculpture of Harley and one of her Hyenas, not sure if it is Bud or Lou.
