We returned home from the Cape today. In the morning we got the house cleaned up and I took the kids over to the climbing structure one last time. Eva was braver this time around and she climbed up both the regular side and the inverted side. Andrew doesn’t have enough fear in him and he worries me as he climbed all over the thing. He went all the way up and over the structure. I kept circling it just to make sure in case he slipped. He is pretty surefooted.
Before we headed home we went to breakfast with my aunt and uncle. We went to a place called Grumpy’s. It is a very busy place but each person who came out of the restaurant told the people waiting in line that it was worth the wait. It really was. I got one of their specials, Crispy French Toast. It was delicious.
After our breakfast we came home and got the house ready for Mimi and Dano to arrive tomorrow.
While not a blockbuster on the scale of Star Wars, The Finest Hours is an epic action movie of courage in the face of real danger and it has hit theaters this weekend. The movie is basted on the true story of the most daring rescue mission in Coast Guard history. Every preview and video I have seen of this movie gives me chills and I have three additional clips including a featurette to share with you today.
