Finally finished…

I finally finished Bill Bryson’s A Short History of Nearly Everything. That book took so long to read. I completed three other books in the time I was reading this one. I would read each day at lunch and thereby practically guaranteeing an eventual forehead slamming into the table scenario. The book put me to sleep on more than one occasion, but it was full of very interesting information that put general science into language that anyone could understand. I’d recommend reading it but make sure you are fully rested before you begin.

I’ve just started Dan Brown’s Deception Point, that should balance things out nicely.

Happy 4th of July!

Okay so I am two days late with this.

The 4th of July was a great time at the Bennett Residence in Falmouth. On Saturday Allison and I went to the Bourne Bridge to do some walking/roller blading. Allison walked with a couple of women who were also walking for the Breast Cancer 3 Day. I took my roller blades and did the 10 mile loop up and back. We had a very nice day.
