This new app called Mahjong Crimes has just been released and it combines the addictive fun of Mahjong set against the backdrop of Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express. good timing, too because the movie Murder on the Orient Express was just released this weekend, too. I downloaded the game onto my Android phone and have enjoyed the game so far. There are several power ups and additions to the game that makes it fun and easy to play. Book

Mystic River

Mystic River was a very good read. I started it last week while on the road and just finished it this morning. The plot was full of twists but as I got close to the end I could see how the final act would play out, for the most part. There were still a few surprises in the end but I could see a lot of it coming very clearly. I am anxious to see the movie now. I knew from the commercials or could piece together who was who as I was reading the book and it was hard not to picture Sean Penn and Kevin Bacon and Tim Robbins as I read it. I am interested to see how they play out the book. A lot of it was in the character’s heads and to see how that plays on screen will be interesting to watch.
