Continuing with the YesVideo photoaday challenge I took a bunch of USB drives that I had from various press events and photographed them. The tagline I put on Instagram was “More memory fits in my hand than did my first 3 computers.” It is crazy that even these devices aren’t even needed anymore. With more and more cloud storage I barely, if ever use USB drives anymore. I’ve got all of them in my Captain America Workman’s Lunch tin from Loot Crate.
Eva and I played with her new USB drive. Okay, we didn’t really play with it we played it on my laptop. The Abby Cadabby USB dive is actually a 4GB USB drive that includes the movie Abby in Wonderland. Eva and I enjoyed the movie, which was adorable. Little fairy in training, Abby Cadabby falls asleep and wakes up in Wonderland with Elmo as the Rabbit, Grover the Mad Hatter, Cheshire Cookie Cat and a showdown with the Grouch of Hearts. There is a great cameo from Bert and Ernie that had me laugh out loud.
The drive is very cute little drive. It looks exactly like Abby Cadabby and it also doubles as a bracelet. Eva can wear this USB that not only can carry her movie but also room for 400 photos or 400 songs. The great thing about this is that you cannot accidentally erase the movie. The other thing is that when you plug in the drive you can automatically access the video and a link to the Sesame Street site. We spent time watching the movie and then even more time checking out the website and the things happening there.
The packaging also says that it is drop proof and waterproof. I can attest to the drop proof of the drive, Eva dropped it over and over. We didn’t try it in water.
