TeleNav Scavenger Hunt

For the past two months I’ve been a TeleNav Navigator in Chief on the Dad Blogger Panel. I’ve used TeleNav to get me to places with the family, to have family meals, to navigate New York City on foot and more. I realized that I know my town really well and I can find my way around without using TeleNav. So, I came up with a little challenge…

I was hoping that friends would tweet to me to go to different places but no one did so I just kept thinking of different places to go. Sadly my old phone, the 1st Gen Motorola DROID just wasn’t up to doing all that I needed it to do toay, so my scavenger hunt got called a little short. But I did have fun and the TeleNav app was a great help.

Even though I’m official done with my time as a TeleNav Navigator in Chief, tomorrow, I still recommend that you follow the TeleNav Navigators in Chief Dad Panel on Twitter with the hashtag #TeleNavDad. There are five of us in all including Adam Cohen (@dadarocks) of DadaRocks, Josh Becker (@DadStreet) of DadStreet, John Taylor (@TheDaddyYoDude) of The DaddyYo Blog, and Tshaka Armstrong (@Tshaka_zulu) of Digital Sheperds. We shared some great tips about how the TeleNav app can enhance your everyday life. So please visit them and learn more about TeleNav.

You can find out more about TeleNav through these different outlets.

Disclosure: I am a member of the TeleNav Navigator in Chief Dad Blogger Panel and was provided compensation to participate. While I have received compensation to participate in the program as with anything that I review the opinions are 100% mine.

When I got my new DROID nearly two years ago I was excited that I’d finally gotten navigation on my phone. I fired up Google’s navigation and was quickly disappointed in the service. On my first time with the navigation I turned it on and drove into Boston only to have the signal get lost on me and thus have me end up getting lost. It has been frustrating using the navigator that comes with the phone. I did not realize that I had any other options….
