2019’s THE LION KING All-Star Cast Announcement

THE LION KING is being remade by director, Jon Favreau and Disney has announced the cast in a press release on November 1. The movie isn’t coming to theaters until July 19, 2019, but I am excited. The original animated movie was one of the best things that Disney has ever produced. I am really excited about who they have chosen to be a part of this movie. I think that Donald Glover is a great choice for Simba and of course Mufasa has to be James Earl Jones. How awesome is that! Chiwetel Ejiofor is going to make a fantastic Scar, too and a superstar like Beyoncé Knowles-Carter as Nala is incredible! She made an announcement of her own on Facebook. Who is Going to See Disney’s THE JUNGLE BOOK This Weekend?

Disney’s THE JUNGLE BOOK is now playing all over. I really want to see this one and again am kicking myself for not having the time to go out and meet the cast and go to the Premiere. THE JUNGLE BOOK was one of my favorite Disney movies and I’ve read the Rudyard Kipling book several times. I think it is time to read it to Eva and Andrew. Maybe we can do that during vacation.

Below I have a small featurette about the voices of the animals in the cast. I love seeing people recording their voices for movies like this. It looks like fun.
