Jokers For The 40 Year Old Boy

Photo-A-Day #3341

For a few weeks I’ve been posting tweets attempting to get the attention of Chris Hardwick and his Nerdist Podcast. I really would love to see Mike Schmidt as a guest on the show. Two years ago I went to Mike’s one man show, Success is not an Option, and had a great time. I also went to dinner with Mike the night before and that was a great time. Mike spent a few minutes during the show ripping me apart because I ate all of the Avocado from a salad that we were sharing at dinner the night before. Mike likes to order a bunch of things and share them with the table.

So, on June 1st I tend to wear a 40 Year Old Boy T-shirt and think of how else I can promote Mike and his podcast because I think he’d be a great guest on The Nerdist. Hopefully someone will see my posts, photos and tweets.

Help Out the Little Pim Kickstarter

In the past few years I’ve become acquainted with the adventures of Little Pim. Little Pim is a curious little panda who helps kids learn new languages. I’ve reviewed apps and dvds from Little Pim. Eva has enjoyed those videos and apps very much and they have made her curious about languages.

Little Pim is hosting a Kickstarter to raise funds for a Holiday e-book they hope to create in time for this year’s holiday season.

In the e-book Little Pim will visit his friends in Mexico, China, France, and Brazil. In each country, he will learn about local holiday traditions and sample holiday treats.

Now, if you’re familiar with Kickstarter, you know that none of the funds raised can be used unless all of the funds are raised. We need to spread the word about this holiday cheer and let fans and customers know what lays in store for them at the end of a successful campaign.

Some of the rewards for donating to the Kickstarter include a holiday e-book of your own all the way up to your child being drawn in as a character of the book!
