#Unboxing Review: LEGO Dimensions Joker and Harley Quinn Team Pack

The Joker and Harley Quinn

We received the Joker and Harley Quinn Team Pack for LEGO Dimensions free from Warner Bros. Opinions of the toy and the game are 100% our own.

These two characters are great additions to the LEGO Dimensions world of figures. The Joker has a tommy gun and has the ability to not only Target but he also has Grapple, Hazard Protection and Electricity. The Joker is voiced by Christopher Corey Smith, who previously voiced him in LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes and LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. The Joker also has many great lines in the game and he is one of the few playable characters who is also a Boss that you fight. The Joker also has The Joker’s Chopper. The Joker uses this vehicle to cause havoc at Gotham. This has been his personal vehicle, using by air, since 2006. The abilities of The Joker’s Chopper are Flight, Flight Dock, Special Attack (Shoot rockets) and Cargo Hook. This vehicle is based on the Joker’s Helicopter featured in the set 7782 The Batwing: The Joker’s Aerial Assault. The Joker’s Chopper can also be reconfigured into Mischievous Missile Blaster and Lock ‘n’ Laser Jet. In the video below you can see The Joker’s Chopper flying all around the DC Comics Dimension which is a smash up of the majors cities in the DC Comics Universe like Gotham and Metropolis.

Harley Quinn is voiced by the talented Tara Strong who played Harley Quinn in Batman The Animated Series, Batman: Arkham City, Injustice Gods Among Us, Batman: Arkham Origins, LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham & Batman: Arkham Knight. Harley has Acrobatic Ability and Super Strength. She also drives the havoc wreaking Quinn-Mobile that can be reconfigured into the Quinn Ultra Racer and Missile Launcher.

I look forward to playing even more with these characters, they have some great lines that I’ve already heard but the more I play, the more I’ll hear. Check out our video of the toys.

Unboxing Miraculous: Ladybug and Cat Noir Toys from Bandai

Cat Noir and Ladybug from Miraculous
Photo-A-Day #4156

At Blogger Bash I was given two Miraculous action figures. I am under no obligation to post about them but we liked them very much that we wanted to share an unboxing with you. Opinions are 100% our own.

I first learned about the French animated teenage superhero show, Miraculous, at Sweet Suite at Blogger Bash 2016. I was touring the event and saw the show on a TV set and also the action figures. I talked with the person at the booth for a while and thought, this would be a great show for Eva. I was right, Eva really enjoys it. We have watched a couple of the episodes so far. These were origin story episodes where we learned how Ladybug and Cat Noir came to be. There are many interesting aspects to the show. There is a lot that hinges on Ladybug and Cat Noir being opposites so they balance each other out.

It is also funny that when they are in their superhero costumes and personas Cat Noir is smitten with Ladybug but as teenage students it is Marinette (Ladybug) who is smitten with Adrien (Cat Noir). There is plenty of these characters not knowing who the other is and a sort of will they, won’t they discover each other’s secret identities moments.

The action figures are really well done. Great articulation and head sculpts. They look just like the characters from the show and they can be posed in many different positions. They also come with a few accessories. There are more than just these two figures that we unbox, too. I am very impressed with those toys.
