PBS Kids Announces New Series Pinkalicious & Peterrific at Annual Meeting

I am a PBS Kids VIP (Very Involved Parent) and I am at the Annual Meeting right now. I am being hosted by PBS Kids and opinions are, as always, my own.

I had the unique opportunity to attend the PBS Annual Meeting and got to see a sneak preview, firsthand of the new PBS Kids Series, Pinkalicious & Peterrific. This series was announced today at our opening breakfast and we heard from a few people associated with the show. It looks pretty adorable, too. The show will have a creative arts curriculum. It is based on the widely popular Pinkalicious series by Victoria Kann. Here is a small sample of that show.

Today is Fred Rogers’ birthday. To celebrate, PBS Kids has set up many activities online that you can participate in. Activities planned include: Sharing videos, graphics and images across PBS, PBS KIDS, PBS Parents and PBS Teachers social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), encouraging fans to share their favorite Fred Rogers memories using the hashtags #ILovePBS and #BeMyNeighbor

New Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood iOS stickers added to the free PBS KIDS sticker pack.

Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood Trolley-themed takeover of pbskids.org and a special new Trolley kart in PBS KIDS’ online world Kart Kingdom (now also available as a free app for iPad).

Fred Rogers-related content on pbsparents.org, PBS Teachers’ Lounge blog and a playlist on the PBS KIDS YouTube channel.
