Last weekend Allison’s friend Jenn went to the Race for the Cure. Allison’s sorority alumni group is a big supporter of breast cancer activities and they help out at the race for the cure every year. This year the volunteers got gift bags and inside there was a beautiful leather pen that was pink and by Cross. they weren’t personalized pens but they were pretty special none-the-less. Jenn got an extra gift bag and gave it to Allison. That was really nice of her. Maybe next year I will run the race again. I did it a few years ago and having a year to train would be good for me.
