14 Distinct Levels in the LEGO® Dimensions™ Main Game

LEGO® Dimensions™ has announced that there will be 14 distinct levels in the main game. These will be levels that correspond to the different Level and Fun packs that you can buy. These 14 levels in the main game do not require the level packs to play. Rather, the level packs unlock the various levels for full exploration. During each level players will face distinct challenges in each level they encounter. I have the full press release plus more images of some of the levels.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment revealed today screenshots that showcase some of the many different environments that exist throughout the 14 levels of LEGO Dimensions, the upcoming entertainment experience that merges physical LEGO brick building with interactive console gameplay. Players can interact with most of the fan-favorite universes within LEGO Dimensions from the Starter Pack main game, no matter which characters, vehicles and gadgets they choose to play with, and with no additional purchase or expansion pack required. A Whole Slew of Properties are Coming to LEGO Dimensions! Plus Each Vehicle Builds 3 Times! Re-Re-Build!

The World of LEGO Dimensions is getting a whole heck of a lot bigger. Today it was announced that The Simpsons, Doctor Who, Ghostbusters, Portal, Jurassic World, Midway Arcade, LEGO Chima and Scooby-Doo! are coming to LEGO Dimensions! Holy crap that is a ton more characters, vehicles and gadgets that will be added to the game. I have a bunch of fun screenshots and some product images for the game that were also released today and a video showing how each vehicle and gadget can be rebuilt 3 times. First, the video.

That is really cool. The batmobile becomes three things. I also have some examples of how other vehicles become three things, like the Cyborg Cyber-Guard and the Time MAchine form Back to the Future. Check these out.
