Happening Hornbill

I took Andrew to the Capron Park Zoo today. He needed to have some energy run out of him. There was still a considerable amount of snow on the ground around the Zoo. When we got there one of the zookeepers was over by the River Otters. One of them was standing up right at the observation window. I tried to get Andrew to stand in the window and look at me to look at the River Otter but he wasn’t cooperating at that time. Andrew, not the Otter. But when Andrew was ready to cooperate the River Otter was no longer doing his thing and the zookeeper moved on. I really couldn’t win.

Looks like the Otter Exhibit at the zoo has had some of the area cleared out and now we can see them around back. The curious little guys were watching me with a very interested look on their faces. I captured this shot that made me think that they were saying, “Hey, where are you going?” The River Otters are Eva’s favorite animals at the zoo.
